Sarah Palin Does Not Lie!

I am watching Sarah Palin giving a speech in which everything she ways about Barack Obama and his positions is not true. For example she says Obama's tax plan has changed to the point that he plans to increase taxes on those making over $120,000, and that his plan has "flip-flopped."

From the perspective of someone who read Obama's tax plan on his website just after the primaries, Palin is lying. We know that Obama will not raise taxes on any family earning less than $250,000, and that he plan has never changed. But watching Palin's heartfelt performance, I understood.

Palin is not lying. She is repeating what she has been told is true. That is what Palin has done throughout this campaign. She has not read and understood Obama's positions (or the US Constitution), she has believed what she has been told.

This will not do for someone a heartbeat from the presidency. Ask yourself, "can we afford a president who does not read, listen, and form their own opinion?" If she became president, who would tell her what to believe and what to say?
