The Supreme Court Opens New Civil Rights Front
Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 12:52PM The activist conservative majority on the Supreme Court overturned two precedents and, clinging to the intent of our founding fathers who loved corporations, affirmed that corporations have the same rights to freedom of speech as individuals. Can corporate marches on Washington demand corporate voting rights be far behind? (Or was that the tea-party rallies?) Free men throughout the land must stand hand in hand with our corporate brothers and demand their rights to run for office?
The only question that truly remains is how are we to determine the gender of corporations so we will know which will be allowed to marry. Of course when this issue comes to the fore, corporations may well favor allowing same-sex, corporate marriage then maybe we will allow it for individuals too.
