So Much Crap So Little Time

A few days ago I promised that my next day’s post would be “Magical Thinking About Barack the Magic _________________ (Fill in the blank as you see fit.)” I had planned for this to discuss unrealistic voter expectations.

Since then, my attention has been drawn to what seemed to me more urgent issues, and I simply have not had the time to write the post mentioned above. I usually start my day by reviewing a number of more and less liberal news sources and always find more issues than any one writer can address—particularly if I am to have the time I need to work on my next novel. Which is to say, “shit piles up faster than I can shovel it against the tide.” I will get to the Magical Thinking post soon.
